Elemental Nanocrystalline Silver Particles

Elemental Silver particles are spherical or nanoflake high surface area metal particles with properties and uses that include inhibiting transmission of HIV and other viruses and are available in the size range of 10-200 nm.

Beeswax
Beeswax is a natural substance made from the nectar of flowers and is produced from wax glands on the sides of honeybees. Honeybees use beeswax to create "cells" or "honeycomb" in which they store their honey. When first made its color is often white, but may vary from white to yellow depending on the honeybee's pollen source. Its aroma is subtle, and contains the fragrance of honey ingrained with other scents present in the hive. It is an expensive ingredient because the demand for beeswax often exceeds the supply.

Jojoba Oil
Jojoba is a popular ingredient in skin and hair care products for good reason. It is composed of more than 97% liquid wax esters and in many functional applications surpasses the properties of Triglyceride oils. Contrary to lotions based on 'oil in water' formulations that evaporate once they are on the skin's surface, jojoba penetrates the lipid layer slowing down the loss of moisture and improving its flexibility and elasticity. It is also an excellent source of vitamin E and is a natural antioxidant.

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera has been used for thousands of years for its natural healing
properties. Cleopatra, who lived from 68 to 30 B.C., was one of the first documented users of aloe vera. She was believed to use aloe vera for its anti-aging properties and to help protect her skin from the blistering Egytian sun. Around the year 6 B.C., Dioscorides, a Greek physician, used aloe vera to treat a wide range of ailments, from constipation and kidney problems, to severe burns of the skin.

Cocoa Butter
Cocoa butter a yellowish fatty acid extracted from the seeds of the cocoa plant during the process of producing chocolate and cocoa powder. Cocoa butter is very expensive and is used in cosmetics and skin care formulations to add shine, fragrance, and prevent the product from drying out too fast. Those of you who have spent time outside in the sun, or tan in a tanning bed know that cocoa butter is an excellent skin moisturizer.

Lanolin
Lanolin is a greasy, yellow substance that is extracted from wool and then purified to be used as a base for creams, lotions and ointments. Lanolin is primarialy a mixture of the esters of fatty acids and cholesterol, and when combined with water forms an emulsion. Lanolin is a unique, multifunctional organic substance, designed by nature, and fashioned by man. Lanolin has been used in skin care longer than almost any other ingredient. This quite remarkable substance and its derivatives have stood the test of time and its performance has been demonstrated through the years. Lanolin is one of those ingredients that was never "invented" and has never been improved or bettered. Lanolin is nature's own ultimate emollient.

Green Tea Extract
Green tea extract is derived from leaves of camellia sinensis, the plant from which green, black and oolong teas are made. Green tea extract is associated with several health benefits, many supported by preliminary scientific research. These benefits include potential cancer-fighting properties, and a strong antioxidant effect that protects the body from the damaging effect of free radicals.

Resveratrol
According to the scientific studies done so far, the health benefits of resveratrol for humans are as follows:
  • Promotes healthy cell reproduction and function
  • High-potency rejuvenation compound that neutralizes the aging effects of free radicals and oxidative stress that can lead to premature aging of cells
  • Promotes sustained muscle function
  • Supports a healthy weight
  • A potent antioxidant supporting cardiovascular health
  • Helps to counteract muscle fatigue and supports muscle recovery after exercise
  • Supports energy and stamina
  • Mimics the effect of calorie restricted diets with promoting longevity
  • Aids immune system function
